Correlation of GEMS Teacher Guides to the State of California Science Content Standards, Grades K–8

GEMS Teacher Guides provide comprehensive coverage of the California State Standards for Science for Grades K–8. The standards themselves are available on-line by searching at the California Department of Education web site. GEMS has not included the standards here for the sake of brevity.

The pages accessible below specify how GEMS Teacher Guides correlate to the standards for the grades indicated. As each page states, many guides span a broader age range; in order to be concise the pages only cite the standards relevant for the grade ranges covered by that page. To see how a specific guide relates to standards in another grade, simply return here and select the alternative grade range desired.
