Kindergarten science content strands are Life Science (L), Earth and Space Science (E), and Physical Science (P). The content strand associated with each competency is identified after the competency statement.

Science competencies for Kindergarten:

1. Develop an understanding that living and non-living things have identifiable characteristics. (L)
